Homework: Friday 16th September

  • Continue to learn your times table for next Monday
  • Read part/all of your reading book. Remember to ask a grown up to ask you some challenging questions about the part you’ve read and then sign your log. If you have a non-fiction book, you may need to ask your adult some questions too if there are sections that you don’t understand.
  • Under ‘Useful websites’ on this blog select Curriculum Visions. Click on the link and you will be taken to the home page. In the top left hand corner there is a box that says ‘Free trial Login’ click on ‘login’. Enter the username: rearsby.leic/0001 and the password: jungle. On the next screen select ‘Home Screen’. Use the tabs along the top of the page to find Science and then find the book called Pushes and Pulls. (It is on the second shelf of the bookshelf.)  Read pages 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 and 13. You can, of course, read more of the book if you wish to. Then use the ‘weekly homework’ tab on the right hand side of our blog’s homepage to leave me a message to let me know you have done this.
  • Spellings for your test on Wednesday– your sheet is in your bookbag.
